Food Is Becoming Less Nutritious Every Day
The food we eat, even premium organic fruits and veggies, is not as wholesome as the food our grandparents ate.
A landmark study published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition compared vegetables in stores today to those from 1950. Its findings? An up to nearly 40% decline in certain nutrients among 43 types of produce.
This means we have to eat an increasing number of calories to reach the recommended daily value of essential vitamins and minerals.
So even if you eat a healthy, balanced diet, Food is Not Enough.
