"Have had acid reflux and heartburn for a number of years. I thought my stomach was producing excess stomach acid. So I was taking popular OTC acid reducers. But the problem became chronic, so I did some research and discovered my condition might be my stomach was not producing enough stomach acid. I discovered Betaine HCl with Pepsin about two years ago, and tried it. My symptoms went away on the very first day. I originally was taking the 650mg capsule but decided to try the lower 250 mg capsule, and it is just as effective. I take one capsule after breakfast, and one after dinner. No longer have heartburn or discomfort. This is an amazing supplement for an acid reflux sufferer!"

"I have been taking this for a long time and it helps me to digest my food as i'm am older and I assume don't have enough stomach acid,hence taking the hcl. I like the option of a lower dose,because this is what works for me and higher doses are usually too much. if I feel I need a little extra,I have the option to just take two instead of one. most are 625 I believe and this is too much for me most of the time. please keep making this formulation at this dosage. thank you!"
