How do I know which supplements are right for me?
Choosing the right supplements for you and your routine can be overwhelming. How long before I see results?
Results vary depending on the supplement and the individual. Some products start working shortly after use, while others need a few weeks for their full benefits to be realized. For best results, take your product consistently, following the dosing instructions on the label and consulting with your doctor. Although most of our customers are very happy with our products, all supplements may not work for everyone. If this is the case for you, we’ll be happy to honor our 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
Where do you get your ingredients?
We pride ourselves on bringing you only the highest-quality supplements under the sun, and quality starts at the source. We work tirelessly, scouring the globe for the most premium raw materials available. To this end, we source ingredients such as herbs from their native regions, where these plants grow best. For example, we source our maca from Peru, elderberry from Europe, saw palmetto from Florida, and ashwagandha from India.
Responsible sourcing is always of the utmost importance, and we seek out clean and traceable ingredients, selecting non-GMO and organic options whenever possible. We also prioritize clinically backed nutrients with proven efficacy, for support you can truly count on.
Are your products gluten-free?
We offer a large number of gluten-free supplements. When shopping in store, simply look for the Gluten-Free badge on packaging; online, look for the badge as well as copy indicating it is a gluten-free product. We also offer vegan and vegetarian formulas, and many products are made without major allergens – soy, milk, eggs, etc. For specific ingredients, refer to the full Supplement Facts label on the back of our cartons and bottles, which is also included online with every product.
Why do my supplements smell, taste, or look different?
Many of our ingredients will vary in color, taste, and smell from batch to batch, but we assure you this doesn’t mean the product has gone bad or is no longer viable.
We source the finest ingredients from around the world to create our high-quality products. We don't discriminate country of origin and in fact value herbs or ingredients that are native to a certain region, such as maca from Peru, elderberry from Europe, or dong quai from China. A certificate of analysis from each supplier is the first step required to guarantee product quality. But we go further: We triple test at our own state-of-the-art, ISO Certified laboratory before any material is released for production. Some of our stringent testing procedures include testing for identity, purity (screening for heavy metals, microbes, bacteria, yeast, molds, herbicides, pesticides, major allergens, etc.), and potency. Then, we conduct finished product testing to be sure we picked, blended, and produced according to our stringent specifications.

Are your products safe?
Safety is our number one priority.
In fact, we have some of the most stringent testing protocols in the industry. Solaray supplements are triple tested: with our suppliers, before the ingredients ever reach our manufacturing facility; at intake; and then again before being bottled. No skip lot or repeat lot testing of raw materials is allowed, meaning all raws are tested—we test every batch, every time. Before one of our 700+ supplements reaches store shelves or ships to your home, not only will it have been tested at three different stages in the manufacturing process, it will have undergone up to six different types of quality tests in that time, including microbial testing for unwanted microorganisms and contaminant testing to ensure you’re getting a product free of potentially harmful chemicals and pesticides.
Our facilities are 455-2 GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Certified. This is a private gold standard, developed by NSF and Global Retailer and Manufacturer Alliance to certify top dietary supplement manufacturers, that requires each step of the manufacturing process be carefully documented. We are an official NSF Listed facility.
Additionally, our lab is also ISO 17025:2017 Certified, which means it meets an internationally recognized high standard set for testing and calibration laboratories. Verification requires a third-party auditor, facility scrutiny, and process analysis, but we’re happy to do it—to further show how much we care about our products and everyone who takes them.
Beyond Solaray’s own set of standards, we follow all industry regulations. Many people think that the supplement industry is unregulated, but that is simply untrue. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) carefully regulates the manufacturing processes, safety of ingredients, and marketing practices for all nutritional supplements.
How are dietary supplements regulated?
All supplements fall under the FDA, which regulates their production, marketing, and sale.
All manufacturing facilities are regularly inspected by the FDA and must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), which cover everything from verification of raw materials to product testing and labeling.
All marketing claims made by the manufacturer are closely monitored to make sure there are no product claims to cure or treat any disease or its symptoms.
Any new ingredient must be submitted to the FDA for review and approval before it can be used in a supplement.
If an ingredient is thought to be harmful, the FDA must decide if a) safety warnings need to be included on the label, or b) the ingredient should be banned and taken off the market.
Can your products be used by children?
While most of our supplements are designed for the specific needs of adults, we currently offer Kids Focus chewables for brain development support and Kids Vitamins & Minerals chewable children’s multivitamin.* As we advise adults to consult with a healthcare practitioner before beginning a new supplement routine, talk with your child’s provider to see if a supplement regimen is right for them.

Refunds
How do I get my money back?
At Solaray, we make it easy with our 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee, which covers both open and unopened products. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your product, simply email info@solaray.com within 60 days of purchase, and add “Refund Request” to the subject line. In your email, please include 1) a brief explanation of why you’re unhappy, and 2) your order #. You’ll get your money back within a few days.
To be eligible for a refund, your purchase must be made directly from Solaray on Amazon, Walmart.com, or from our website Solaray.com. If your order is over $50, we ask that the order be returned with a prepaid shipping label we’lll email to you. Once our team receives the return (generally 7-10 days), we’ll process the refund. If your order is under $50, we’ll process the refund immediately; we ask that you please donate the supplement(s) or pass them along to a friend or family member you think might use it.
